Our ongoing commitment to your peace of mind.
The Health Hub has just received re-accreditation from the National Safety & Quality in Health Care Standards (NSQHS). The external, independent audit measured our practice against two standards: one for Dental Practices and the other for Community Care based practices.
Thanks to our entire team for all their contribution to this complex and time consuming process. Over the course of 18 months, 435 pieces of evidence were gathered and submitted by the project team.
Why is accreditation so important?
Dental accreditation is an independent review that tests whether a dental practice meets the criteria set for that industry. Currently, accreditation is voluntary. Most dental practices in Australia aren’t accredited due to the high cost, time and difficulty in achieving the high standards required.
Dental accreditation is important to us to ensure that our standards are verified against the gold standard as detailed in the NSQHS.
What does this mean for you?
Visiting an accredited practice means you have peace of mind, knowing our team is committed to:
- Providing high quality services and support in a safe environment
- Strengthening our engagement with patients and the community
- Embracing diversity while being respectful and understanding of differences, and
- Constantly improving to create positive outcomes.
