The Health Hub is brought to you by Australia’s Private Health Insurer of the Year as Voted in the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards 2022 – TUH Health Fund.
The Health Hub started as just a dental clinic in Fortitude Valley all the way back in November 1984. By 1986, due to the high level of service and quality provided, the patient demand led to the dental clinic quadrupling in size to twelve surgeries and an onsite dental laboratory, and it is to this day one of the largest dental practices in Queensland.
An optical centre was opened alongside dental in October 1986. To improve the quality of service for the ever-growing number of clients, an in-house optical laboratory facility was opened in September 1987, speeding up the delivery of standard frames and also carrying out of repairs on the spot.
A focus on the overall well-being of our clients led to the addition of physiotherapy services in May 1998. Further services, such as podiatry, massage and audiology were added over the years.
The Health Hub has grown and changed over the decades, but has remained a trusted and contemporary centre for all things health in Brisbane.
Our approach to patient’s total well-being means we continue to partner with experienced dentists, optometrists and allied health providers to deliver services and solutions for everyone.
The dental clinic became one of the first independently accredited practices in Brisbane and in 2018 the entire Health Hub was awarded full accreditation against the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards NSQHS Standards.
Centrally located in Fortitude Valley, our modern facility with on-site parking is your one-stop-shop for health services.

We strive to make your first experience with The Health Hub pleasant.
We suggest new patients arrive early to their first appointment to complete relevant paperwork. You will be welcomed by our friendly staff at reception. Once checked in, feel free to explore by trying on some glasses in optical or enjoy the wi-fi while you wait for your appointment.
You can pay by EFTPOS, MasterCard or Visa, Afterpay and we have HICAPS so you can claim your health fund rebate right away.
For most services, you simply pay the full amount (minus your rebate) at the end of your treatment. However, major dental work requires a deposit after your first appointment.
We understand that life sometimes gets in the way of appointments which is why we provide reminders before your appointment. If you miss your appointment and don’t let us know, we may charge you a fee.
